How we reply

Reviews below are paraphrased and anonymized examples. Replies are real replies we wrote, with names removed.

Example review · 5★

"My salesperson got me a good deal on a new GTI. Friendly and helpful."

Our reply

"Congrats on the new GTI! Glad [our sales consultant] got you a good deal and made it a friendly experience. Enjoy the drive!"

Example review · 2★

"The salesperson was great, but as an out-of-state buyer I was promised a call from a manager that never happened."

Our reply

"Thank you for the detailed feedback, and for the kind words about [our sales consultant]. We're sorry your scheduled call with a manager never happened and that our response made you feel like your time wasn't a priority. That's not how we want any shopper to feel, local or out of state. Please contact me directly; I'd welcome the chance to hear more."

Example review · 1★

"Buyer beware. My finance deal came with a large fee and add-ons that drove the price way up."

Our reply

"Thank you for laying out your concerns in such detail. We take questions about fees, add-ons and lender requirements seriously, and we're sorry this visit left you feeling uneasy. Please contact me directly so we can go over what happened."

Why us

We've been on your side of the counter

Test Drive Growth was started by Vito Ilardi, a dealership general manager who has worked inside New York dealerships since 2006. He has answered the tough reviews, chased the leads that went cold and sat through the vendor pitches. This is the service he wanted to buy.

Established in 2015. Backed by 20 years inside New York dealerships.

  • Honest disputes only. We only report reviews that break a platform's rules, and we tell you when a review should stay up and get a good reply instead.
  • No review gating. Every customer gets the same chance to leave a review.
  • Real replies, in your voice. No copy-paste "Thanks for your feedback!" on every review.
  • One shop, one bill. Reviews, leads and listings handled together, instead of five vendors.

Data security

How we protect your data

Your customer list is your business. We treat it that way: we work inside your systems, use your data only for your outreach and never sell or share it.

See our Privacy Policy and data handling and security practices.

  • We work inside your CRM. We log in through user access you grant and control, so your data stays in your systems and you can turn our access off at any time.
  • Your data is used only for you. Customer lists are never sold, rented or shared, and never used for another client's outreach.
  • Opt-outs are honored immediately. STOP replies and do-not-contact requests are respected right away, and we check before every message.
  • Consent first. Texts follow opt-in consent under the TCPA, and emails follow CAN-SPAM, with a working unsubscribe on every marketing email.
  • Limited access, stored safely. Only authorized team members work your account. Logins are kept in an encrypted password vault, never in email or chat.
  • Your data comes back to you. When the contract ends, we return or delete any copies we hold. We sign an NDA or data processing agreement on request.
  • Built for your compliance. We use reasonable safeguards for personal information, as New York's SHIELD Act expects, and for dealers we support your FTC Safeguards Rule (GLBA) compliance program.

FAQ

Straight answers

Can you delete bad reviews?

No, and nobody honest can promise that. Only the platform (Google, Yelp, DealerRater and so on) can remove a review. What we do is report reviews that clearly break the platform's rules, like spam, duplicates, fake or off-topic reviews and conflicts of interest, and cite the rule. The platform decides. For fair negative reviews, the best fix is a calm, professional reply and more reviews from your happy customers.

Do you write fake reviews or only ask happy customers?

Never. We don't write reviews, buy reviews or filter out unhappy customers. Every customer gets the same review request.

Do you only work with car dealers?

No. Dealers are where we started, but we also work with home services, dental and medical offices, restaurants, salons, law firms and other local businesses. Pricing is lower for local businesses.

How do you handle medical, dental and legal reviews?

Carefully. Our replies never confirm that a reviewer is a patient or client, and never share private details.

Is our customer data safe with you?

We work inside your own CRM through access you grant, use your data only for your outreach, never sell or share it, and return or delete any copies when we part ways. We'll sign an NDA or data processing agreement on request. See our Privacy Policy.

How is billing handled?

Plans are billed monthly, per location. Each plan has a one-time setup fee that covers account access, profile audits, your review backlog, CRM and contact-rule setup and reporting. It is waived when you sign a 9-month agreement. Month-to-month plans can be canceled with 30 days' written notice.

What's in the free audit?

A look at your unanswered reviews, reviews that may break platform rules, your Google Business Profile and how fast your leads get a response, plus a recommended plan. No obligation.
